Airport Tax

As of 9 February 2015, all airlines departing from Indonesia are required to include the airport departure tax in the price of the ticket. This new regulation is valid for both domestic flights as well as international flights departing from Indonesia. If you have purchased a ticket before 9 February 2015, when the tax wasn’t included in the ticket price yet; then you will still need to pay the airport tax.

Airport Transfer Lombok

Dress Code at Gili Air and Lombok

Most residents of Gili Air are Muslims. Out of respect, swimwear is only acceptable on the beach. Just put on a shirt or throw on a "sarong" for restaurants and wandering around. Lombok outside the tourist areas, it is advisable to follow the local dress-code. In many public institutions such as the Immigration Office, wearing flip flops is prohibited.

Money Matters

On Gili Air, there are 3 ATMs. There are several money changers who will change cash or travellers cheques. The dive shops and some restaurants can accept payment by major credit cards but at the most shops and warungs around the island payment can be made only with cash.
